HNBF publication celebrated with a book cake

Her New Best Friend is now for sale in ebook and paperback at all good bookshops. To celebrate the publication on Thursday 5th August, Kenilworth Books held a launch party complete with a stunning book cake made by Penny’s very talented neighbour.

Lizzie Lewis, RedDoor Press’s marketing manager, talked to Penny about the thriller, its themes and inspiration, then Penny did a reading and answered questions from the audience. One gentleman wanted to know if she named the baby Wilfred after Boris Johnson’s son! (The answer was that the character was named way before the Prime Minister’s son was born).

To finish Penny signed copies and the chocolate fudge cake was shared out amongst all - and very nice it was too.
